Sheep Creek Trail
The trailhead to this National Forest trail (Custer Gallatin National Forest Trail #218) is just 1.4 miles from the cabin. One group of guests hiked up Sheep Creek Trail as far as they could in May of 2016. Deep snow prevented them from going the last 1/3 of the way to the top of Sheep Mountain.
